Aurora's Lament
my flame feels cold, and my spark lies wet, to hear you ask for death, to set you free you see me burn and you see me leave but do you ever see, the tears I cry? the grains have fallen, the hourglass is calling but you can’t go can you remember the touch of wonder? the kiss of boon? you’ve reached the end, but I’m circling round can we turn around to days long ago? I scream out loud in my heart within ashes blow in winds far down below the grains have fallen, the hourglass is calling but you can’t go can you remember the touch of wonder? --the kiss of doom? |
