Spring 2016 * How to Appropriate Exotica Stutter fashionably, darling. Be late for appointments. Stay up till seven --say, my two dogs had to watch the Oriental sunrise. Do not name names; moan every five minutes. On the deathbed, lie societally like a mountain goat. Let the Himalayas come into his mouth: Oh, sweets! the gates of Hell. Disavow family and friends. Scale up cannibalism on a long panel. Fence the garden of earthy delights. Outside--it’s sillies-- let people kill each other! Fabulous! Hang critics and trespassers by the meathooks from the ceiling of your slaughterhouse. Pace their fall when they ask serious questions. Laugh like a machine gun: Ha Ha Ha! Just make their lives difficult, put them in a spot: Paradise Lost. |
